Although the club has gradually dwindled in numbers over recent years, we are very pleased to see an
upsurge of interest again this season, with two divisions currently in progress, with an increased membership.
We meet on Tuesday evenings, currently playing
at the Harvest Barn, an old Inn situated on the outskirts of St Helier, the main town. Games usually begin around 7.30 pm,
with an opportunity for non-league and casual games on the first Tuesday of each month. All levels of play can be found,
from Fide Master level down to relative beginner. Any new members or guests are warmly received, with opportunities to play
throughout most of the year.
Our main excitment in the coming months will be the annual match between Jersey and Guernsey, our sister
island, to whom we owe our gratitude in helping to set up this website.
